Syn Rouge Sparkling Shiraz

Coonawarra Shiraz sourced from our own estate is made first into a dry red style and matured on its light yeast lees for several months. In the same year as harvest, the wine is re-fermented under pressure to allow for the natural carbon dioxide to be dissolved into the wine to create the effervescence then bottled under pressure after the liqueuring that adds to the creaminess of the palate.


The Leconfield Coonawarra estate was established in 1974 by pioneering oenologist Sydney Hamilton. During the three decades that have followed, Leconfield has embraced innovation, annually producing high quality wines which are sought after all around the world. This uniquely Australian style of wine has a fitting place alongside our traditional Syn Chardonnay Pinot Noir as bright fresh contemporary sparkling wines.
